Q: LONGEST YOU WORN A PAIR OF JEANS FOR WITHOUT WASHING THEM?

A: Well on tour we pretty much live in whatever we are wearing for however long we are on the road for… I think I hit 6 days days in a pair of tight boot cut girls jeans when we were away once. Which is pretty gross when you consider that we were playing gigs every day (so drenched in sweat and booze every night). Getting to a laundromat is barely even a consideration when your on the road… the van usually smells like a cross between an ashtray, an alcoholic and a sweaty sock within 2 days. The rock n roll roadshow is nowhere near as glamourous as it is made out to be.

Q: OK, 1 PAIR OF PANTS, 1 T-SHIRT, 6 MONTHS OF NOT CHANGING… BASICALLY, DESERT ISLAND OUTFIT. WHAT WOULD YOU BE SPORTING?

Oh that’s tough. Do you go tight and black with a cut off tshirt or flares with a waist coat and neckerchief? Wait… if I was on a desert island I wouldn’t want anything too heavy. Ok. Short shorts, hawaiin shirt and cowboy hat with large feather in it. Nothing says “I’m on a desert island but that’s cool” like that outfit.

Q: WHO FROM THE BAND HAS SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO CALL YOUR OWN AND WHAT IS IT?

Robbie has quite a few things which I actually do call mine…. thieving bastard, ha! Jono has a nice hat made out of a black pony which I’d like but I think he’d cut off my hands if I even touched it.

Q: WHAT IS A BIG FASHION FAUX-PAUS FOR LADIES?

Over done makeup and fake tan. We are not as thick as to actually believe you are bronzed in winter and it’s just not necessary… subtle make up to accentuate what is already there is great. I haven’t kissed a girl with full face paint since I was 6.

Q: WE’VE NOTICED YOU INCREDIBLE ARRAY OF JEWELLERY, WHATS BEEN THE BEST FIND RECENTLY AND FROM WHERE?

My favourite piece is an art deco silver feather brooch which a very dear friend had made into a pendant for me. I’m also a big fan of my mexican tourquoise ring from texas, my indian silver bangles and my eastern and african beads.

Q: WHERE DO YOU GET IT FREQUENTLY?

Indian cottage emporium (jewellery store), C’s flashback king st, Eastern flair, cream on king…

Q: IS THERE ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE TO PLUG WHILE YOU’RE HERE?

Hell City Glamours are a good band… sometimes. Our first record is out (self titled) through MGM (australia) and Powerage (europe) and we’re writing our second one at the moment.

Q: WHATS YOUR CAR CRASH OUTFIT?

Black boots, tight boot cut light denim jeans, hell city glamours tshirt (yes… shameless), neckerchief, shitload of jewellery and my bull fighters jacket. I’d be happy playing in traffic in that…
